There’s something about Dungeons and Dragons that just gets my blood pumping. Maybe it’s the excitement of the unknown, or the thrill of the adventure. Whatever it is, I just can’t get enough.
I love playing my Elf character, sneaking around in the shadows and surprising my enemies with a well-placed arrow. It’s so much fun to role-play as someone completely different from myself – someone who is brave and daring, and not afraid to take risks.
My Barbarian companion is always good for a laugh, especially when he’s smashing through doors and charging into battle. He’s quite the opposite of me in almost every way, but that’s what makes our team so strong. We complement each other perfectly.
And then there’s our Male Mage, who is probably one of the oldest characters in our group. He’s got a bald golden beard that cascades down his back, and he always looks like he knows something we don’t. He’s wise and powerful, and I always feel safer when he’s around.
Dungeons and Dragons is more than just a game to me – it’s an escape from reality, an opportunity to be someone else for awhile. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
