Long ago, in a time before history itself, there were elves. These elves were the first people of the world, and they lived in a time of peace and harmony. One day, however, a group of elves decided to leave their peaceful homes and go on a great adventure. They traveled to the far corners of the world, and eventually came to a place called the dungeons.

The dungeons were dark and dangerous, and the elves quickly realized that they were not welcome there. However, they also realized that if they wanted to find any treasures or artifacts, they would have to go through the dungeons. So, armed with only their courage and their wits, the elves set out into the darkness.

For days they fought against all sorts of creatures, until finally they came to a great door at the end of a long corridor. Behind this door was a dragon, one of the most feared creatures in all of the land. The dragon was huge and ferocious, and it seemed impossible that the elves could defeat it.

However, after a long and hard battle, the elves emerged victorious. They had slain the dragon and claimed its treasure for themselves. From then on, they were known as heroes throughout all of the land. And so began the legend of Dungeons & Dragons.
