Elf Bard Female Young Bald Black
She was young, barely out of her teens. And yet, she already had the bearing of a seasoned veteran. Her long, black hair was pulled back in a severe ponytail, accentuating her sharp features. She wore simple clothes – well-worn leathers and a tunic of faded green – but they were well-made and fit her lithe form perfectly. A slender rapier was sheathed at her hip, and a lute hung from her shoulders. She was an Elf, and a Bard.
And she was bald.
It wasn’t something she liked to talk about, but it was a fact of her life. When she’d been born, her parents had been horrified to see that their daughter had not been blessed with the traditional Elven pointed ears. They’d taken her to see the best healers and shaman in the land, but none could determine what had caused the deformity. Eventually, they’d come to accept it as simply another quirk of fate, though they often wondered what kind of magic could have caused such a thing.
As for the young Elf herself, she didn’t let it bother her too much. True, she sometimes felt like an outsider among her own people – especially when everyone around her was so focused on appearances – but she knew that there was more to life than simply looking good.
