She would often imagine herself as an elf, or a bard, or some other mythical creature, adventuring through dangerous lands and defeating powerful enemies. Now, she was finally going to get her chance. She had signed up for a real-life Dungeons and Dragons campaign, and she was eager to begin.

The first thing she noticed upon entering the game store was the smell of incense and candles. It was thick in the air, making her head spin slightly. She walked over to the table where her fellow players were gathered and took a seat. Most of them were men, which didn’t surprise her too much.
