I sit in my dusty old chair, surrounded by piles of musty old books. In front of me is a large, complicated-looking board with strange symbols and numbers on it. I’m playing Dungeons and Dragons – a game that has been around for almost 50 years.
I’m an elf druid, and my character is quite old – he’s got long black hair and a beard that reaches down to his waist. He’s wearing a simple tunic and trousers, made from natural materials like wool and linen. He doesn’t carry any weapons, as he prefers to use his magic to defend himself.
I roll the dice, determining what actions my character can take during his turn. Then I move him around the board, exploring the imaginary world that the game creates. Along the way, I encounter all sorts of creatures – some friendly, some not so friendly.
I’ve been playing Dungeons and Dragons for many years, and it’s always been one of my favourite games. It’s a great way to use your imagination, and it’s also a lot of fun. If you’ve never played before, I highly recommend giving it a try – you might just find yourself hooked!
